Job Description
We are proud to be supporting this Global Client in finding a new Project Engineer to join their team in the Water Industry.
This role requires an experienced Project Engineer who has worked in the waste water industry and will support the water process, electrical control/mechanical designs, material and equipment selection and sizing across multiple projects throughout the UK and Europe.
As a Project Engineer you will support the Project Lead and the wider Project team with the asset design and water treatment projects, with your main location being Peterborough.
There will be some opportunity to work hybrid but this will depend on workload, meetings and whether it is critical for you to be on site.
You will be responsible for:
Supporting with the design and execution of Bridge, Complex Mobile and BOO projects, ensuring they are completed to time and budget constraints
Supporting with water treatment asset designs and factory acceptance testing, following the certifications process and standards using CE, CSA, UL and UKCA
Assisting the Project Lead with document developments, reviews and approvals
Overseeing customer deliverables and technical communications
Utilising SAP – to create/update Material Master, Inventory, drawing and BOM
Sourcing suppliers and parts where necessary
Working closely with the Project lead and regional leads team to develop deals and successful executions
Working closely with external contractors to ensure they produce detailed designs and drawings
To carry out this role you will need the skills and experience below:
- A basic knowledge of water process, electrical, control/mechanical designs, material and equipment selection and sizing
- Knowledge in PLC designs and Integrations (Preferable PLC- Allan Bradley and Siemens)
- Experience in engineering design and design leadership
- Experience in a product and services business - ideally within water treatment
- Strong water process and project management skills with ability to drive projects and meet deadlines
- Strong analytical and computer skills.
- B.Sc. in an Engineering/science / Master or related technical experience
